Here at iARATech, we don’t deny deadlines aren’t uncomfortable. However, we’ve simply learned, over 10 years and numerous client projects, how to push through them without sacrificing our quality, our composure, and each other, and that’s worth talking about.

The first impulse when a deadline draws near is to hurry up. We’ve learned to hold off that urge for just a couple of minutes. Before the team speeds ahead, we take a pause and ask ourselves, does everybody clearly understand EXACTLY WHAT NEEDS TO BE DELIVERED, TO WHAT STANDARD, AND BY WHEN? An unclear group working quickly is far worse than an understandable group taking their time. Those 10 minutes of clarity can save hours of wasted rework.
- We tell the team the truth.
As a project becomes more complicated, or timelines tighten, the iARATech team is given the straight dope, No beating around the bush, no keeping information locked at the top, If a deadline is pressing, the team is aware of it; if a client has expressed specific concerns, the applicable team members are informed specifically of what these concerns are. Being transparent isn’t simply a value that we document; it is the reason why the team stays in sync when things get tough.
- Roles become sharper, not messier.
When a team is put under pressure, the confusion surrounding who is responsible for what can cause even the most talented teams to fall apart. As a project’s deadline approaches, our lead team ensures that every member of the team understands their specific role, with no overlap and no holes. Every deliverable, regardless of the urgency of the deadline, undergoes a quality review. Perhaps the review is completed faster than usual, but it NEVER IS SKIPPED.
